Waterside Wednesday

I am excited as I join with others who have a passion for waterside living. My childhood was spent growing up in the West Shore area of Tampa Bay. My heart is at home by the water and I currently reside in South Tampa and I live on a beautiful street lined with 1920's bungalows. This picture is Bay Shore Blvd. and it is at the end of our street.

From early childhood until today you could and can find my feet shuffling through the sand and my back bent over sifting through the shells, for these gifts of the sea fired the passion that have made me what I am today. A Sea Shell Artist.


My home is a reflection of this coastal passion and I have many treasures from the sea that I will share with you on future Waterside Wednesdays.


Welcome to my home.


This is my inspiration piece. The mantel was what started my sea shell fascination and my love of shell decor.

I look forward to sharing more of my home with you and my art as well as the pleasure of getting to know each of you.

    Another gorgeous post! Love your photo of Bayshore Blvd. Many members of my family live within walking distance. It's such a beautiful place to walk, skate, run (ugh!)...
    Where is your favorite place to go shelling?

    We really have to meet! I live down the road from Honeymoon Island... There are some beautiful shells there.

    I live in Seminole, Florida, just over the bridge from you and I love finding other Florida bloggers. But then when I find out they are shell artists, I am ecstatic! I love shell art, but am nowhere near your level. I look forward to seeing more postings from you.
